Horse Racing Betting 7:51 am
Even a beginner can use a successful horse racing betting system to win at horse racing.
The crucial aspect of betting is that you follow each rule for at least 100 bets. Bets need not be made with real money at first. If you have a profit to show after 100 bets, you can then try to gambling for real.
An example of a simple horse racing betting system can be found below. This example – the “NH High SR Non-Handicap Fav System” – was specifically designed for National Hunt racing.
1: Use this only for Non-Handicap races as handicap races are more difficult to generate a profit from.
2: Bet on one clear qualifier for the race and use forecast favorite only (if joint VOID bet).
3: The lower the odds are the more likely it is to make a profit, no matter how small.
4: Know your horses. In the UK, horses aged six and over are usually competent and consistent jumpers, while the performance of younger horses may be erratic. For this reason, it is best to concentrate your bets in a successful horse racing betting system on horses aged six plus.
5: Choose a horse that has finished in at least second place in his last outing. Previous winners usually present lower odds.
6: Geldings are often the most reliable of horses over fences, so you should ensure you wager on geldings as much as possible.
7: The terrain must be classified as a “Good-Soft” or in better condition.
These simple seven rules have over the last 10 years produced a horse racing betting system that has yielded a 48 point profit and a 63% SR overall. Three losing years have occurred but have still generated a profit. Around 100 bets take place each year. This system is for the long term gambler, who recognizes that patience and persistence are key ingredients in winning.
